Community is key to any project in the crypto space. Without a community, there is no project, and without a project, there is no community. It is a symbiotic relationship that ensures that only the projects that engage with their communities survive.
$VRM, of course, is a brand new project. We held our public presale IDO on BSCstarter, and sold out within a few hours, raising 1250 BNB.
Since then, although we are a small and dedicated team, we have focussed on putting that BNB to work, growing the $VRM community, building up our team of Veronauts to send into space!
Verum Community Giveaway (Part 1)
We started our community building and brand awareness exercise by holding a 2-part VRM community giveaway, with $750 worth of $DOT up for grabs to 3 lucky winners — celebrating the fact that VRM is the first deflationary protocol in the Polkadot ecosystem.
As a result, we have grown our Telegram and Twitter followers by 2k, introducing $VRM to a whole new swathe of people.
Congratulations to @abcswap0, @rakkixeri, and @cryptomd26 who took home 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize respectively in part 1 of our grand $DOT prize giveaway.
Verum Protocol Creative Contest (Part 2)
It doesn’t end there however, Part 2 is underway, and this is about providing the community with a little incentive to show us their skills!
Part 2 is the Creative Contest, and another $750 $DOT is waiting to be won!
1st prize and $500 will go to our favourite submission, with 2nd prize and $250 going to the community favourite (the post with the most retweets (RTs).

What is Verum Protocol?
VERUM is the first truly deflationary currency on the Polkadot chain and is aiming to go live on the Moonbeam/Polkadot parachain in Q2 2021.
VERUM token has been designed as deflationary to be both a store of value and a hedge against inflation. The 3% token burn mechanism that makes VERUM deflationary is automated by a smart contract and will take place every time a VERUM transaction occurs. Once the smart contract is deployed and the burn function is initiated, it cannot be stopped.
